In collaboration with an ER doctor in Denver and our friends at Edgar Allen, we built Yodel to provide Denver residents with high-quality, in-home urgent care. The service allowed you to call a stable of doctors at any time to get care. Yodel was later acquired by a healthcare company.
Yodel was designed from the ground up to provide users with confidence in the service during a time of need. The Yodel brand signaled a level of quality in the service. Each step in the process, had FAQs to ensure the patient understood how the service worked. And I used Google Maps API to geolocate the doctor and report arrival time to the patient. Behind the scenes, we used Truevault to keep patient data private.
We focused on providing new users trust in the service. The colors are a play off of the service's hometown football team, the Denver Broncos. And we prominently featured Dan, the doctor who started the company, to help communicate the care the team had for the service.
